At the Sayakha plant in Bharuch, Gujarat, the operation runs at 100% zero liquid discharge (ZLD), so no liquid process effluent leaves the site. The MVR and ATFD train is rated at 53 kilolitres per day (KLD). Condensate recovered through the train is recycled back into the manufacturing process, and the dried sludge is disposed of at Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB) approved Treatment, Storage and Disposal Facility (TSDF) sites. These figures describe the Sayakha plant. Chemical-product approval is a separate check and does not certify a factory's water-treatment performance.

Do product approvals differ from site-level evidence?
Nuchem's product evidence includes 55 listed ECO PASSPORT products under certificate 21.0.64039 from Hohenstein, and 34 active ZDHC Gateway Level 3 products individually checked on 28 September 2026. Nuchem inputs also appear in the official GOTS approved-inputs directory, where 24 named COTFIX colourants matched the records checked on 29 September 2026. The GOTS record identifies Control Union Certifications and a 3 June 2024 issue date, while the ECO PASSPORT certificate is recorded as valid until 30 June 2027. Product scopes are separate records, and no single record proves approval for every catalogue variant, every factory or a buyer's finished textile. Site-level evidence is different again: a factory's water-treatment description, for instance, is not a chemical-product approval, and each record applies to a named grade only.
